Tampines Family Fashion Fun! Photography Competition: A Celebration of Family Togetherness

Capture special moments of your family spending time together.

Gather your family members, dress them up in coordinated colours, style and/or theme, take a creative photo and share in 80 words or less how you spend quality time together in Tampines!

1. Submit a creative photo
    
   • Must have at least 3 family members (furry members of the family are welcome)
   • Photos must capture the requirements of the Tampines Family Fashion Fun! theme
   • The photo must
     1. Bring out the meaning of family togetherness by dressing your family up in coordinated colours, style and/or theme
     2. Feature the special place in Tampines where you spend family time together. Please do not feature a home or a shopping mall.
     3. Show your family spending time together. It could be a family reunion, a celebration, or anything that captures the spirit of family togetherness.

   • Share with us why you spend your family time in that particular place in Tampines and how the family activity is meaningful to your family (80 words or less)

   • Multi-generational photo submissions showing the family togetherness across the different generations (i.e. grandfather/ grandmother, father/mother, son/daughter and so on)

• By entering, participants grant permission for their photos to be featured in communication materials with proper credit.
• Photos containing minors must have parental/guardian consent.
• Once shortlisted as the winner, all family members in the photo must be present to receive the prize on 22 Feb 2025.

1. All entries must be submitted by 2359 on 24 January 2025.
2. The Competition is open to all Tampines residents (Singapore citizens, PRs and foreigners) and participation is free
3. Participants under the age of 18 years old as at 16 December 2024 must obtain consent of parents or legal guardians and by participating in this Contest, it is deemed that consent has been obtained.
4. Photo entries submitted must be the Participant’s own work and must own the copyright of the entry
5. Each participant may submit a maximum of one entry. In the event of multiple submissions by a single participant, only the latest entry will be considered.
6. The Organiser reserves the sole and absolute discretion to exclude or disqualify any Participant and/or entry from the Competition
7. Photos that have won prizes in other photography Competition, or have been previously used or are intended to be used for any kind of commercial purposes, must not be submitted
8. Digital manipulation that distorts the reality of the photographs is not allowed. Only basic enhancements such as sharpening, contrast adjustment, conversion of colour images to black and white are allowed
9. Each photograph entry must be submitted digitally in JPEG format and be no larger than 5MB in size. The longest side of the photograph must be at least 2000 pixels in JPEG format
10. Photo entries should not contain any obscene, incendiary, defamatory, sexually explicit, or otherwise objectionable or inappropriate content
11. Any form of plagiarism or use of copyrighted content will not be accepted. Entries which have won prizes in other photo / video competition, or have been previously used or are intended to be used for any kind of commercial purposes, will not be accepted as well. Participants will indemnify Tampines Town Council against any claims on infringement of copyright relating to their entries
12. By participating in this Competition, the Participant warrants that he/she has not obtained the photo via any unethical means
13. Tampines Town Council reserves the right to exclude or disqualify any entries that do not meet the requirement
14. All entries will be evaluated by a panel of judges and all decisions are final. No correspondences or appeals will be entertained.
15. Winners may be interviewed by the Organiser. All winners consent to public disclosure of their names and the results of the Competition
16. The Participant grants the Organiser and its associates a non-exclusive, royalty-free and transferable right to use, reproduce, publish, publicly display, print, edit or distribute any materials submitted for the Competition in any media format and any media channels as deemed fit by the Organiser, for the purposes of promoting the Competition and raising awareness for Tampines Town Council
17. Tampines Town Council reserves the right to make any changes to the Terms and Conditions set out herein and any other arrangements concerning the competition
