Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Tampines Town Council had to adapt to the new normal to showcase the exciting projects of Tampines Changkat Neighbourhood Renewal Programme Batch 12 (Public Consultation).
The residents of Blocks 371 to 374 and 381 to 396 were still able to view the new projects in an exhibition. With the proper safe management measures, the exhibition was held from 31 July to 1 August 2021 in the Multi-Purpose Hall at Block 388. Residents have to check-in using the Safe Entry App, sanitise their hands, and take their temperature before entering the hall for the exhibition.
To avoid overcrowding, we encouraged residents to view the NRP exhibition online. By scanning a QR code on the polling card, residents can view the upcoming renewal plans on an e-brochure from the comforts of their homes. Residents can also cast their votes online by scanning another QR code on the polling card.
New linkways, drop-off porches, playgrounds, and outdoor seating areas are some of the exciting new amenities featured at the exhibition. We need to achieve 75% of ‘YES’ votes to turn these exciting plans into reality.
If you are a resident of Blocks 371 to 374 and 381 to 396, please cast your vote to support the NRP! We are giving away a limited-edition eco-friendly mug to residents who have voted!
NRP is a government-funded project, and the enhancement works will be carried out at no cost to you. We value your feedback and look forward to reshaping the neighbourhood with you!
